It is with unimaginable sorrow that we remember Paityn Sustaita of Albuquerque, a bright and beautiful 10-year-old whose life, though far too short, left a lasting imprint on everyone who knew her.
Paityn was a proud member of the NMYAFL Artrisco Heritage Jaguar cheer team—a true Jaguar in every sense. She loved her team deeply, and that love was returned tenfold. Her bright smile, joyful energy, and kind heart lit up every practice, every game, and every moment she shared with others. She had a spirit that could lift anyone’s day, and a presence that made people feel warmth and happiness.
To her family, Paityn was a precious daughter, sister, and niece—someone whose laughter filled their lives with light. She was full of innocence, promise, and love, with a future that held endless possibilities. Her bond with her family was deep and unbreakable, and her memory will forever live in their hearts.
Those who knew her describe Paityn as a light—a child whose kindness, sweetness, and vibrant personality touched everyone around her. She had a way of making people smile, and her love will continue to echo through the lives she touched.
The loss of such a young and beautiful soul is beyond words. As family, friends, and the wider community grieve, they are also coming together in love and support—lifting her family up in prayer and surrounding them with strength during this heartbreaking time.
A candlelight vigil will be held in her honor at Tower Park, where loved ones will gather, wearing pink, to celebrate her life and the joy she brought into the world.
Though her time here was brief, Paityn’s legacy is one of love, light, and unforgettable beauty. She will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her.
Paityn Sustaita will be endlessly loved, deeply missed, and always remembered.
Rest peacefully, sweet angel.
