It is with profound sadness that we honor the life and legacy of Dylan Carter of Saint George, a gifted singer, beloved friend, and vibrant soul whose life was tragically cut short in a fatal car accident. His passing has left a deep and painful void in the hearts of his family, friends, and the many communities he touched through his music and presence.
Dylan was more than a performer—he was a light. Known for his remarkable voice and heartfelt performances, he brought joy to countless people at town events, private gatherings, and live venues. His talent was undeniable, but it was his warmth, kindness, and genuine spirit that truly set him apart. Whether on stage or off, Dylan had a way of making people feel seen, uplifted, and connected.
He was a proud musician with Dylan Carter Music, sharing his passion as a singer and guitarist at weddings, corporate events, and community celebrations. Beyond music, Dylan was also a dedicated professional, working as a realtor with Carolina Properties at Lake Marion and as the owner of Sunny Days RV Park & Campground in Santee. In every role he embraced, he brought the same enthusiasm, dedication, and heart.
Many knew Dylan as a “ray of sunshine”—someone whose smile and energy could brighten even the darkest days. His journey also reached a wider audience as a contestant on The Voice Season 24, where he proudly represented Team Reba, further showcasing his incredible talent and passion for music.
To the Moncks Corner community and beyond, Dylan was not just an entertainer—he was a friend, a neighbor, and a cherished part of everyday life. His absence will be deeply felt, but his music, his laughter, and the memories he created will live on forever.
As we mourn this heartbreaking loss, we extend our deepest condolences to Dylan’s family, loved ones, and all who knew him. May they find strength, comfort, and peace in the love that surrounds them and in the lasting legacy Dylan leaves behind.
Dylan Carter will be forever loved, deeply missed, and never forgotten.
May he rest in peace.
